New Law Centre proposed for North Wales

We are very pleased to be part of the steering committee for the new proposed North Wales Law Centre to help those people find legal advice who cannot currently afford it.

The steering group has now secured funding for a full-time Development Manager for 12 months who will be able to work with organisations and communities across North Wales to find opportunities for collaboration and to identify where the most urgent priority areas are and where a Law Centre could make a difference. The project is being supported by the Law Centres Network.

The development phase is the first stage of a longer-term project to establish the first Law Centre for North Wales, to provide free legal advice and representation to people who couldn’t otherwise afford it on issues such as housing law, immigration, and domestic abuse.

We at JW Hughes & Co. are keen to collaborate with the new Law Centre to help our local community.
