Divorce/Family Law
I am a Partner of the firm and specialise primarily in divorce and family law. I specialise in a variety of family law related issues ranging from straightforward divorce cases, to high net worth complex financial claims including financial disputes concerning unmarried cohabitee couples. I also advise/prepare both pre and post nuptial agreements.
I am motivated by helping clients to obtain successful outcomes and providing them with the means to move on with their lives. Family law has evolved over the course of recent years, although in some circumstances it is necessary to litigate, pro-active family lawyers now try to look for sensible ways of settling cases, if possible outside of the Court arena. I very much adopt this approach when representing my clients. I strongly believe that the right advice at an early stage is crucial to minimising the emotional and costly impact.
As well as dealing with matrimonial/cohabitation matters, I also help clients resolve private disputes regarding the arrangements for children and regularly appear before the Family Court in connection to Children Act proceedings.
I am on the Law Society Family Law Accreditation Scheme and on the 1st July 2015 I attained the higher recognition from the Law Society as an Advanced Accredited Specialist in the areas of Matrimonial Finance and private Children Law disputes.

Outside of work, I am a keen golfer and enjoy travelling and attempting to keep fit.
