Legal Specialities
I have dealt with Personal Injury matters for over 10 years. I regularly assist clients with road traffic accident claims, work place accidents, slip/trip claims and public liability claims, criminal injury compensation claims, industrial disease claims and medical negligence claims. I have great knowledge in using the Ministry of Justice Claims Portal for claims under the value of £25,000.00 and also have vast experience in dealing with higher value claims meaning I can assist clients with Fast Track and Multi-Track Claims.

I can also offer advice in general Civil Litigation matters such as boundary disputes, neighbour disputes and debt recovery.

I am also the head of the Civil Litigation and Personal Injury Department at JW Hughes & CO LLP.

I can also assist clients with Private Housing matters and I can act on behalf of landlords or tenants in such matters.

I am also a fluent Welsh Speaker and can deal with the matter through the medium of Welsh.

Experience/working background
I started my legal career as a Personal Injury Paralegal in Liverpool in 2009 before taking up a similar role in Cardiff in January 2011 with Cordner Lewis Solicitors.

In April 2011 I then took up a similar role with Hugh James Solicitors. I became a team leader at Hugh James after only a year and qualified as a Charted Legal Executive on 28th January 2014.

I am from Caernarfon, North Wales originally and now live in Anglesey. I moved back home from Cardiff in November 2014 to take up a role as a Chartered Legal Executive at Allington Hughes Law in Llanrwst in their Civil Litigation, Dispute Resolution and Personal Injury Departments.

I joined the J W Hughes & Co team in November 2015. 

Memberships and/or schemes
I am a member of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives (CILEx) and have been a fellow of CILEx and Chartered Legal Executive since 28th January 2014.

I am also a member of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL) and have been since 4th March 2015.

On 17 May 2017 I also gained accreditation under the Law Society’s Personal Injury Scheme and become a member of the Scheme.
