Note from our staff...
I started my journey at J W Hughes & Co. in January 2022.
My initial thoughts on what it would be like to work for a prestigious law firm quickly changed when I arrived at J W Hughes & Co. The initial fear of stepping into the unknown can be quite daunting, but those already here made me feel most welcome. I felt lucky to be in a place where I felt my career could grow, but at the same time, be in a place where I wanted to be.
J W Hughes & Co. is one of the hardest working firms around, and I am proud to say I am a part of it.
I must personally note that Mr. Philip Kentish is the best employer I could have hoped for. He ensures I am listened to; he ensures I get my chances to step in where he can watch and educate, and he ensures my overall learning experience is as real as it can be. I have learned more here at J W Hughes & Co. than I have over my whole university experience, and I have a master’s degree!
For those wishing to come and join J W Hughes & Co., I would say you are in for some hard work, but you will have fun while doing it. You will learn all you need from the best teachers, and you will develop without even noticing it and, of course, having a good time makes time fly.
