Joshua Lloyd has settled an Employment Liability claim for £50,000.
The claim arose from an incident over four years ago when the Claimant tripped over a protruding structure during her employment.
The Defendant denied liability and raised issues of contributory negligence. Medical causation was firmly in dispute with it being the Defendant’s case that only a modest soft tissue injury related to the index incident.
Extensive medical evidence was obtained and following continued correspondence, the claim was eventually settled prior to trial for £50,000.
This represented an excellent outcome for the Claimant, who was also able to avoid a trial.
