Joseph Hendron

I am a partner of the firm and specialise primarily in divorce and family law. I have expertise in a variety of family law-related issues ranging from straightforward divorce cases to high net worth complex financial claims including financial disputes concerning unmarried cohabitee couples. I also advise on and prepare both prenuptial and postnuptial agreements.

I am motivated by helping clients obtain successful outcomes and providing them with the means to move on with their lives. Family law has evolved over recent years, although in some circumstances it is necessary to litigate, proactive family lawyers now try to look for sensible ways to settle cases, if possible, outside of the court arena. I very much adopt this approach when representing my clients. I strongly believe that the right advice at an early stage is crucial to minimising the emotional and costly impact.

In addition to dealing with matrimonial and cohabitation matters, I also help clients resolve private disputes regarding the arrangements for children and regularly appear before the Family Court in connection to Children Act proceedings.

I am on the Law Society of England and Wales advanced panel in the areas
of Matrimonial finance and Children Act proceedings. I am also a Director &
Trustee of the Aberconwy Domestic Abuse Service.
